As someone who has dedicated their life and career to the field of media, it was a great honor to be selected as an honoree at the Night of Excellence event hosted by the City of North Miami Beach and Commissioner Daniela Jean. This event was created to recognize and celebrate the contributions of men of color in the fields of television and radio, and I was honored to be among the honorees.
The night was filled with inspiring speeches and tributes to the honorees, highlighting the impact that we have made in our respective fields and the role that media plays in shaping our society. It was amazing to be in a room full of people who are passionate about the same things that I am and to hear their stories and experiences.

Being recognized for my work in media is always a humbling experience, and reminds me every time why I got into this field in the first place. Media has the power to educate, entertain, and bring people together, and it is truly an honor to be a part of this industry since 1997. It was especially meaningful for me because I was the only honoree based in Haiti. This award demonstrated that hard work and dedication to the field of media know no boundaries and that the impact of our work can be felt all over the world.
The Night of Excellence was a truly unforgettable experience, and I will cherish my memories of it forever. I want to thank the City of North Miami Beach and Commissioner Daniela Jean for recognizing and honoring men of color in the media. I'd also like to encourage others in the industry, particularly in Haiti, to keep working hard and never give up on their dreams. We can continue to have a positive impact on our community through media.
